WHO WE ARE
JAX BREAD CO. is a local traditional artisan bread bakery, founded in 2012 offering rustic and flavorful French-style sourdoughs, NY-Style Bagels French-style pastries, artisan sourdough pizza(both take N bake whole pizzas and ready to eat pizza slices), gourmet sandwiches, etc, made with simple ingredients with no added preservatives and/or additives.
Jax Bread Co was voted Best Bagels in Jacksonville by the Florida Times Union in 2022. We are the only artisan bakery making NY-style Bagels in Jacksonville from scratch and baking fresh every morning.
Our PASSION
Our passion is to create carefully handcrafted top-notch French-style sourdough, artisan sourdough pizzas, NY-style bagels and French-style morning pastries made with traditional long fermentation processes that helps retain flavor and nutrients. Our sandwiches are made from scratch with carefully selected ingredients of the finest quality. We use UNBLEACHED/UNBROMATED FLOURS due to the health dangers associated with Bromated Flours used in other Bakeries. We buy from food distribution companies and also endeavor to buy LOCAL to help sustain local businesses in our community.
